Jesus and His death on the cross and resurrection from the grace IS the central point of all history. 
Shortly after God created a perfect world, man sinned, breaking fellowship with God and bringing pain, suffering, and death into this world.
But God sent His Son, Jesus, to earth to share His message of love and redemption.
He was put to death on a cross, but rose from the grace three days later.  
The Bible clearly tells us that if we trust in Christ alone—in His payment for our sins—and follow Him, our sins
will be forgiven and we will spend eternity with Him in heaven.
Christ Jesus, therefore, matters more than anything! Your eternal destiny depends upon HIM!
